UK pizza lovers can finally now play Pizza Hero from Dominos. The game has already become quite popular in the US, but now the UK version is available to download from itunes for free.
If you’ve never stretched dough, you can now do so with this game which is available as an iPad app. In addition to stretching dough, you’ll add tomato sauce, smother your pie with mozzarella cheese and the freshest of Domino’s toppings. You also get to cut the pizza after it’s been cooked. The good thing about this virtual pizza cooking, there’s no mess afterward.
In essence, what you seem to have here is a pizza cooking contest. Pizzas are judged for each section of the baking process. The store manager will judge and marks for speed and quality will be given to the player. If you get hungry for pizza while playing the game, there’s a link to the Domino’s Pizza ordering system. Now, isn’t that handy?
Domino’s does a fine job of gamifying their brand. The release of Pizza Hero is just their latest effort and it looks like a winner.
