Despite there being a war on poverty in America since 1965 and hundreds of billions of dollars having been spent on the problem, which includes hunger, more still needs to be done. Since the government has failed our youth, it is now time that private organizations take the lead and that’s exactly what Share Our Strength has done with their No Kid Hungry campaign.
Just last month, Grimaldi’s Pizzerias all over America donated a portion of their proceeds to the No Kid Hungry campaign. The restaurants raised a total of $70,000 to donate to Share Our Strength and their campaign to make sure no child in America goes hungry.
